I sent you a long text asking for the reason you sent more the 200 6 1/2 inch strips and a hand full of width of fabric purple strips. I’ve been quilting for more than 30 years and I can figure out how to make this work but I assumed from the picture and pattern I would be making strip set and cutting the appropriate sizes which is in the pattern directions and makes a whole lot more sense. I was looking forward to sitting down and enjoying making this quilt. Not happening any time soon. Not sure I’ll be ordering anything else it recommending to my friends.

The fabrics are vibrant and beautiful. I had admired this kit for a time and after surgery I couldn’t cut comfortably. So it was a perfect time to buy a precut kit. The blocks are almost complete and ready to put together.
This was the second precut kit I’ve ever purchased. The first was in 1994 and I didn’t put it together until 2020!

It’s great to have all pieces cut for you. Be sure to check the sizes. There was a few that were off and I didn’t notice until I started sewing. The directions of the quilts are not very clear. It’s easier if you make your own chart. I emailed looking for more direction using the pattern giving compared to the fabric pattern. I was using never received any information.

I love the fabrics. I am not in love with the pattern as far as how much needs to be trimmed off to square the quilt, due to it being pieced on the bias. I am really holding off on this last step due to the fact that if I miss cut, I am screwed.
