Cutting pieces for a quilt is the most stressful thing. Pre cut quilt kit takes that away. Because of this kit I started back making quilts again after 6 years. My granddaughter is so excited Gigi made her a quilt.

The fabrics are lovely, however this is one of the few kits that actually makes it harder when all the individual pieces are cut. It would have been so much easier to piece (9 ) (7) (5) Or (2) 2 1/2 x 20” strips and then cut those into 6 1/2 inch sections. If I am missing something please help me understand. But to me doing those simple cuts would have been so much faster (and easier to keep coordinated) than being given 200 +
6 1/2 x 2 1/2 “ strips and sewing each seam separately. Love your kits but this didn’t help me save time. Whatever was saved by cutting I lost in organization and extra string piecing. Still a beautiful quilt.

I appreciated the pieces were all cut the correct size so I just had to sew! The assembling of it was tricky to follow the small diagram row by row (do I need a 2,5,7, or 9 piece here). I’ve made close to 100 quilts, so I’m not a beginner. The quilt is to the point I need to trim and I feel the directions are sparse for doing that step.

My 9 year old granddaughter and I have just started this quilt. She’s not quite ready for the rotary cutter so a pre cut quilt fit the bill. The straight lines and larger pieces in this quilt will also not frustrate her by being too hard or take too long to see the progress she is making. She lives the colorful daisy prints so much! She made a lot of progress in one day. I am excited to share the finished masterpiece when finished.

I was so excited to receive this quilt, because I never had a quilt I did not have to cut. I received a notice that is was arriving on a certain and I could hardly contain my excitment. Then I received a package from Fabric Addiction. I was disappointed not in the fabric but the package only contained the backing not the cut pieces for the cut top. Very impressed with the accuracy of the precut pieces. The fabric looks and feels great! I'm not finished putting my kit together yet but I've barely used my iron so far, because the fabric folds back so nicely with just finger pressing. Can't wait to get it all finished. The fabric is beautiful and easy to work with. However the pattern says use scant 1/4” seams and it has to be a full 1/4” seams otherwise the precut sashing is too short. Have to resew all the sections.
