This is a challenge for me in many ways. I have advanced arthritis in my hands and neck etc.. but I really wanted to complete a quilt for a granddaughter who loves tie dyed fabrics and all colorful fabrics and I thought this quilt would suit her.
So, I’m learning the tricks of triangles!

Matching up the triangle colors was the easy part. I figured out that if I only worked four rows at a time it was easier to get my blocks in the right spots. I love how it quilted out with verigated thread with a Mum pattern. It was very nice to have it ready to go out of the box.

The colors in person are not nearly as vibrant and bright as the pictures made it seem. Mostly in the blue/purple colors. Its a bit dissapointing since the colors are one of the main reasons I chose this kit. Also the fabric is not quite as nice as I had hoped. I think it's 100% cotton but it doens necessarily feel that way. I still really like the pattern and am having fun putting it together! I kow it will look cool when it's all done. Thanks!

The cut fabrics are in bags numbered 1-25 according to color. However in the piecing instructions they are referred to by letter. So you have to add a label to each bag with the correct letter. These make HST blocks that are now referred to by number. This could have been done more efficiently. Also many pieces have been cut with bias edges on the shorter sides which isn’t great either.

Chromatical about 3/4 pieced! The project requires attention to detail and careful piecing, something I needed….a project that allowed me to enjoy the process instead of rushing to finish. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed Chromatical.

The color code is not explained correctly so it’s impossible to follow the pattern to make the quilt!! I’ve written a message about it but have not received a satisfactory answer as there still is no solution! I’ve asked to return the quilt as well, to no avail.
This is my first attempt at a quilt by My Fabric Addiction. I have bought 2 other kits. I hope they are better explained!! I fear this might well be my first and last experience with this line!!

This was my first attempt at doing anything other than stripes and squares in a quilt. My friends all told me to read the full instructions before I started cutting. I should have read them twice. I cut my first round of blues too small which made for a very tiny blue block. So I recut my fabric and kept going.
The pattern was clear and easy to read. My error came from me. I love how it turned out. I love how it gave me tips to keep it looking good and keeping my corners close and tight.
I’m quite pleased with the result, although I added another line of blocks. I haven’t put the whole thing together yet. I have thoroughly enjoyed this pattern and would recommend to anyone looking to do something like this
I bought three kits! So far I’ve made the table square and now I’m working on a runner. The pieces are precisely cut and go together very easily using my 1/4” foot. I decided to use the backing and do a self binding for the table square and it looks great as you can see in the photo.
Just started the quilt but already the squares I’ve completed look great ! Customer service is wonderful - I mistakenly used a wrong size piece and had cut it before I realized my error- I quickly received a replacement piece of fabric in the mail after contacting customer service !
Took my Star Studded kit to a 3 day retreat and finished it Sunday morning! It garnered many oohs and ahhhs! My daughter has already claimed it once it gets longarmed and bound!
Love this kit. Even extra piece of each step. The only thing I had trouble with is cornerstones! I don’t like cornerstones at all . Would recommend this company time and again. I’ve bought a lot of kits from them because I don’t like to cut fabric.
I love that they are all cut out. It makes it so much nicer plus you get to get going on the fun part. I love it it's my new favorite way to make quilts.

Was able to start sewing right out of the box, thank you. Instructions are easy to follow, except I changed the ironing on the little strawberry hulls so that they would next. Another great quilt kit! Quality fabric, easy-to-follow pattern, and had extra pieces (per usual for their kits) in case of any oopsies. Super fun to make, and loved the color choice—perfect for my husband.
My first chance to use these lovely kits! What a joy to sew with everything already cit and labeled! I was shorta few squares and they sent them out immediately.
I loved that the pieces were pre-cut and that the directions were so clearly written. Since the quilt was too long for the design wall in my basement, I had to lay out the bottom two rows on a long table, but so far every row is coming together beautifully. I will definitely shop here again.
I am new to quilting and wanted to try my hand at making a quilt with various fruits on it. This is by far the best pattern for a quilt that I have ever read. I am far from confused and will totally buy more patterns in the future.
This quilt went together in a weekend. It arrived within a few days, as expected, and I sewed it over a 2 day weekend.

The star panel on the flag is one unit, that is accurate ,with 50 stars.
I love the fact that this quilt gives you the flexibility to place the red and the blue prints where you wish. The white background fabric is solid white , versus the white on white print background fabric( not usually my preference), but it looks beautiful with this quilt.
This quilt looks great and I’ll probably make it a few more times. I’d highly recommend making this quilt for someone who is patriotic, they will absolutely love it!

I love the look of this quilt, but I love the ease of it even more! This is one of the easiest quilts I have ever made, but the look of it is complex and seamless! Not only that, but MFA is always great with the precision cut pieces.
I am beyond happy with the quality of the fabric, the clear instructions and pleasantly surprised with how much left over fabric there is. After I take it off the long arm I’ll share video of both sides!

My Fabric Addiction kit is Red White and Cute and it is indeed, cute that is and easy. I love it! I have my red and white striped blocks completed and have started on the star block assembly.
At 1st I was going to make this to give as a QOV. I love the quilt so much I've decided to keep it for myself and my LAQ used a quilting design that has the # 250 in the design! It's my 250th Anniversary quilt!
This flutter quilt arrived in a beautiful box and all the fabric cut and ready to sew. I love my finished quilt and enjoyed the ease of sewing right away and quilting. The fabric choices are stunning.
Arrived beautifully packaged! Everything is precut & each color packaged & clearly marked individually. I couldn't be more excited to get started on my quilt. They took all the possible cutting mistakes out of the equation, not to mention all the time saved from cutting & sorting. The patten is very easy to read.
The kit was so easy to put together. I love that the pieces were bagged and marked. The extra fabric was a nice touch (glad I didn’t need to use it).

I loved the look of this pattern, and I always prefer completely precut kits for the ease of getting right into sewing the top. However, I do think the “order of assembly” instructions made this project a lot more unpleasant than it needed to be.
The suggested instruction has you assembling 8.5”blocks, then joining those into rows with long sashing strips between. The sashing strips have cornerstones to align with the blocks. That might work fine—- If you are an absolute rockstar with exact 1/4” seams, straight stitches, and perfect pressing. Otherwise, getting all those cornerstones aligned correctly on long rows is a real pain.
I ended up seam-ripping, and reassembling in an alternate fashion: I made larger blocks with their sashing/cornerstones pre-attached, then assembled into 4-block groups, then joined those fully into the quilt top. Doing it this way meant I was able to much more easily “correct” minor issues with cornerstones not perfectly lining up. And it also allowed for block trimming if needed.
The fabric in person looks a little more “denim” than it does on the website (in my photo notice the medium blue). But the quilt has a simple but lovely look that I think works well.
The Pre-cut Quilt kits from My Fabric Addiction are the best solution for people like me that love to sew but dread cutting 1000+ pieces of fabric. This quilt kit came with all of the perfectly cut pieces and very well written instructions - there were also a few extra pieces. Which is a good thing because I may have messed up the first flower 😬🫣. Overall, the quilt looks great, excellent quality fabric, and super fast shipping. Currently I am working on another quilt kit from them, I can’t wait to share it!
