Slightly disappointed in the colors of the fabric. While I understand the fabric won't always be as pictured, I didn't expect it to be pale pastels. I was expecting the colors to be more colorful. I exchanged out the very light grey that was for the butterfly body to a shade slightly darker. It will work out.

The quilt was easy to piece but would have like a couple of each pieces in case of an oops! I’ve been making quilts since 1988 and have made 1000s of tops. The fabrics were beautiful.

This is my 3rd quilt from here. I am finding this one difficult. I would never call this a beginner quilt under any circumstances. Advanced beginner? Maybe or a real confident beginner.
Instructions for this quilt was not at clear as the others. The pieces were not lettered like the other quilts either. I found that really helpful. Just dimensions on the tags. I took the bottom butterfly wings apart three times before getting it correct. None of the three small squares were cut to size. You had to mark them to make 1/2 square triangles, then sew and trim. I was also not given enough of the 2.25 X 2.25 in blocks and had to cut additional pieces. At least there was a packet of extra fabric. I was under the impressions that everything was precut. Silly me.
Butterflies do not go together as nicely as you would expect then to go together. Takes me 20-25 minutes just to accurately piece and press one finished square - there are five piece and it should not be this difficult. It will take me at least two more days to get the remaining 30 butterfly blocks pieced. If you are looking for a quick-to-make quilt, this is not it.
Also, not sure just what white fabric you use in these kits, but it unravels and sheds if you look at it hard ......
I will finish this quilt this week but I would neither recommend it nor purchase it again.

Kit arrived on time with everything needed. I wish the directions were more detailed. This is definitely a pattern you need to make a sample block first, as I didn’t and had to ask for extra material, which they were very prompt and sent me. I also wish they had included directions on which way to press seams. That’s so vital and few patterns include it. All in all I’m definitely purchase more kits from this company.

This is my second(?) precut quilt kit and I began working on 8 butterflies! Precuts certainly make it easier than my cutting those small pieces!! However, I did expect the fabric to be similar to the moda fabric I buy at my local shop…. This appears to be a lesser qualify!

Pre-cuts are awesome. The pieces were labeled, which eliminated any chance of using the wrong piece. I am currently working on piecing and am enjoying it as it goes together.
