Unfortunately I ordered 3 kits for my first order. I'm not excited about the fray on the pieces or the quality of the fabric. They need starch which I can't do now that they are cut

My kit was missing one of the fabrics shown although enough fabric was sent in the other colors to complete the quilt. Several white sashing strips were cut short. Several rectangular blocks were short as were some of the blue sashing. The blue sashing was 2 different fabrics, should have been same throughout.
Also the pattern fabric requirements on the back are not what is expressed in the cutting section and isn’t what was represented in the fabrics in my box. You have to go through the cutting section to know which pieces are which. Also If I would like to use the pattern again, I will have to calculate the fabric I need from scratch. I was wondering if there were pattern corrections somewhere?
All in all a disappointing first experience.
I have 2 more of your kits already. I really hope they are better than this one.
While your customer service department is sending some replacement pieces, to feel the need to measure so many pieces almost defeats the purpose of getting a precut kit. Also, I did ask questions about the pattern and those went unanswered.
The fabrics are lovely and I can make it work but this was supposed to be a quick and easy project and it hasn’t been.

I am not sure about this precut, but my previous precut had missing pieces. I emailed that but did not get a response. This was my second email of concern but received no acknowledgement. Nevertheless I do like precuts.

When I purchase a kit, I try to do it exactly as the picture. That is what I fell in love with. So it is frustrating when some of the fabrics have been substituted. So I end up doing a scrappier version than I intended..

This is my first time ordering precuts and I will definitely be back to order again. The fabrics are so cute. For those of us still working and/or lacking a dedicated sewing room; being able to skip the cutting and jump straight to sewing is a real game changer. I might actually finish a quilt within a reasonable amount of time! LOL!!
